Shabbat Shalom!
I do realize that the last night of Passover (Pesach) was April 5th, but I would like to wish everyone out there a Happy belated Pesach. I hope all my real Jewish friends missed me at Seder. I was practicing my prayers for next year/possibly Hanukkah.
With the assistance of a site called Judaism 101, I have learned more about the Jewish religion and have practiced a few songs. I’ll impress you later...as for now…
Ba-ruch a-tah A-do-nai E-lo-hei-nu Me-lech Ha-o-lam,
Say hello to my Jewish Easter bunny!

I’ve been a terrible blogger...I promise to increase my blogging as my semester comes to a close! As many of your SDA girls, mamma’s and who ever else reads this blog know, I was home in Stowe for my Spring break. It was a party like no other. I hung on the beach all week, got really tan and read a few books. HAH. Actually...I taught a bunch of fun classes, kicked your little butts, and assisted at the TRIP Dance Company Annual Fundraiser. It was awesome to see the company perform and raise a wad of cash. The company is a place for dancers to be united as a family, travel, improve and compete around New England. Its a great experience for dancers to improve technique and performance quality.
The show was awesome! Everyone did a great job and I think my speaking abilities were especially fantastic!
TRIP girls having a little too much fun before the show.
You can find video’s from the TRIP performance and much more at my youtube channel:

Yeah...you guessed right....the queen is “working” on the beach...and happens to take a break every five minutes...check out the pictures!!
“Working” hard…
Too much work...she needed a break!
Hope you are all enjoying vacation as much as the queen and David Sullivan are…

On another note: the queen lost her headphones on the way down to St. John and called me to find them..She happened to call me at 8am on a Sunday, completely waking me up. So I took the best message I could...not very impressive.
My leg worked as a great notepad!!

TRIP Dance Company visited Boston this past weekend to attend West Coast Dance Explosion. I was in heaven, seeing as how Eddie Strachan was there, and I ended up stalking him all weekend. Other wonderful teachers of the weekend include Kim Wolfe, Stacey Tookey, Alan Sherfield, John Crutchman, Nick Bowman, Elizabeth Parkinson & Jeff Lapes! The TRIP girls had a great weekend and did very well in the competition. “Pointless” choreographed by Helena Sullivan and performed by Abby Fitzgerald, Rachel Zacharius, Eliza Krakower and Cara Lachtrupp, won overall high score! Congrats!!
I set two dances on the company this year! A contemporary titled “Goodnight & Go” performed by Alyssa Jones, Cara Lachtrupp, Rachel Nunez & Eliza Krakower....and “You Can’t Stop the Beat” performed by a group of 20! Both dances were awesome, I’m so proud of everyone!
All in all, it was a great weekend in Boston for the TRIP Company members, my mom, Helena, the parents and myself! Thanks for the fun weekend away!
Below are a few videos from the teacher classes I took..nothing special!

How is it already 2010??? This is crazy!!!
Well, TRIP Dance CO. has been up to some pretty cool stuff...working hard and preparing for WCDE (West Coast Dance Explosion). For the past five weeks, I have been in Stowe, relaxing, enjoying my time off from school, skiing and teaching lots of classes. It was a blast! I really enjoyed teaching the young ballerinas, the intermediate jazz classes, the advanced jazz & lyrical and even the pre-professional ballet class (with jazz music)!!!! I hope you all had as much fun as I did!!!
While I was home, I also had the pleasure of setting two dances on TRIP Dance Co. “You Can’t Stop the Beat” will be performed by 20 energetic girls, and “Goodnight & Go” will be performed by Eliza Krakower, Cara Lachtrupp, Alyssa Jones & Rachel Nunez. I would like to thank all of my dancers for being so committed and enthusiastic!!!
Boston, here we come…
See you next weekend!
